Roasted Garlic Green Beans

Clean and trim 1 pound of fresh green beans. Place in a glass microwave-safe bowl and add 2 tablespoons of water. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes. Carefully remove the plastic wrap and drain excess water. Toss green beans with 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter, 1 tablespoon roasted garlic and season with salt and pepper.
